I like art that fools the eye (trompe l'oeil) or makes a quick connection with the viewer through humour or a mutual passion for the subject matter e.g chocolate, beer, wine, fizz, sweets of yesteryear, coffee, tea, books etc. I incorporate wrappers, or 'litter' for want of a better term, as a background for some pieces.
When walls are full, I like to think art can add the fun to FUNctional in the form of an original mirror, phone stand, clock, coaster and even bookmark or keyring etc.
